We’ve come a long way from the days of Pong and Donkey Kong. Not the awesome one with the tie. The original jerk who threw barrels at you while you tried to climb ladders. Nowadays, games have gotten more complex, and much, much more beautiful. Lately, I’ve sunk a ridiculous amount of time into Dark Souls 3. However, as much as I wish the opposite were true, I have not been able to turn gaming into a career. I will instead leave that to much more savvy folks like Level Cap Gaming.

We’ve had a video from Level Cap on the THS blog before. Last time, it was to show off a very impressive gaming rig that he had built using the UPLIFT Desk. You can read the original blog on his UPLIFT gaming setup here. It turns out that Level Cap liked the desk so much that he approached us about doing a full review, which can be viewed on his YouTube channel. The other video was so good that, of course, we were happy to oblige.

As we’ve said before, and in all likelihood we will say again, sitting for long periods of time is a horrible way to spend the day. Even if you don’t include the health effects, it’s just mind numbingly arduous. Standing up, even for just a few minutes, will help your circulation and, as mentioned in Level Cap’s latest review, can make you feel like you have more energy. In fact, I’ve been standing for pretty much the entirety of writing this. Having the ability to go from sitting to standing can be a godsend on days where I’ve got a lot to do and not nearly enough energy.

With all that said, if you’re one of those people that have been flirting with the idea of upgrading to a height adjustable desk, I highly recommend checking out Level Cap’s review. It’s pretty comprehensive, and the time lapse of the desk assembly is a really great demonstration of just how easy assembly is. If you’re one of those people who want to go from flirting to a more serious kind of thing, I recommend checking out The Human Solution for all of the available options and pricing. And if you have any other questions that aren’t answered by either the website or the video, feel free to give us a call. We’re more than happy to “lift” you up.
